If you are coming from the south heading north on Hwy 99 you can cut an hour by turning off at Kingsburg approximately 20 miles north of Visalia. When you cross the Kings River the next exit (approximately one mile) will have a sign that reads "Fresno County Lakes", the exit is Mendocino Ave. Turn right and follow Mendocino through the town of Kingsburg through a few stop signs. Mendocino will go through the western edge of the town of Parlier and end at a stop sign at Adams Ave. Turn left and go to the next stop sign less than one mile to Academy Ave. Turn right on Academy. Academy will go through the town of Sanger. Continue on Academy across Hwy 180 on through a few stop signs until the road ends at Hwy 168 (Tollhouse Road). Turn right and follow the signs up Hwy 168 to Prather, approximately 15 miles. Prather is a good rest stop. There is a Chevron station, Canyon Fork Super Market, Longs Drug Store, Ace Hardware, Velasco's (an excellent mexican food restaurant), a Foster Freeze drive in and Bill's Pizza Factory (a great place for a pizza).

Nice. Little kids (10 & 12 yr old boys) running through the tent camping area, pulling their pants down and being noisy, rude, and obnoxious. The store clerks aren’t well organized.

This is probably the quietest campground I have ever stayed in. People were friendly and polite. Facilities were clean and well maintained.

    Our happy place

Great place to come and relax and enjoy some fresh cool air! Beautiful place with 2 lakes nearby for boating, fishing, swimming, hiking etc Nice family friendly atmosphere, large clean sites, well stocked store, clean restrooms and showers, and a staff that goes the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable The 10 pm quiet time is enforced which makes it enjoyable for everyone. Love the activities that are available, ice cream social, Bingo, wine tasting, potluck etc Just a great family atmosphere

    Very friendly place

This was our first visit and we are returning August 15, 2018 for five days. We loved our visit last year. We had our two Toy Poodles and they also enjoyed the clean large RV space. We were with five other families and everyone's spaces were large and clean. We rented boats and fished at Wishon Lake and Courtwright. We took our poodles everywhere with us. We met several regulars and they were friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The park is a beautiful place, we loved taking walks and meeting new people. The store is very nice and hopeful too.
