Felt like we were home.
I am writing this review from the breakfast nook in our motorhome, while looking out the window at the beautiful trees. The cool breeze is amazing. We checked in on July 1st, for 3 nights and decided this morning to stay an extra day. If we didn't have to head south to take care of some business, we would stay the rest of the season, but I suspect we will be back very soon. We absolutely love it here. We generally stay in state parks because we like to be among the trees, not crammed in to an RV parking lot where your slideout all but touches your neighbor's slideout. This place has the amenities of an RV resort but also the privacy and nature found in a state park camp ground. The camp is not overly fancy but it's very well maintained and clean. Combined with the friendliness of the owner, Ralph, and the really nice team of fellow RV'ers that stay and work here seasonally..... it has been a wonderful experience for my wife and I. We feel at home. Thank you for being one of the highlights of our cross country trip. - Joseph & Ruby
