Barking Dogs

It was great, and we are animal lovers but hey other campers do something about your barking dogs. We don't like listening to it. "On a Leash at All Times" means At All Times. Clean up after your dogs. It's not the dog's responsibility it's you the owner.

Family gathering

My family has been coming to this park for 40 years. Things have changed over the years and some are great improvements and some seem to be a bit restrictive but make sense with the need for order and protection. Having camped in 53 of the parks in SD last year, they are all great experiences and have special contributions to the campers experience. This park offers great water experiences and hiking trails.

Wine Trip

The trip rocked. Facility clean, loved the wine tasting event each night, even if it was not my favorites The access to the van to tote us to vineyards was so appreciated. I will be back!

Sticklers

Nice, clean area. Little crowded when full. Really busy boatndock. No dumbster close to where we were. Got told to be quiet after 11. Couldn't even play music quietly. Then came back the next night to complain again. And we were being quite respectful. Was a little ridiculous on how strict they were.

Travel 2018

Staff was great, facility very clean. Was a little disappointed that they seemed to be lacking a few basics. Every RV park we visited has had doggie poop bags available at various places in the park, they did not. No soap in a dispenser in the ladies room, which is an easy fix and they only supplied about 6 chairs at the beautiful pool and most of them were falling apart . I had heard such great things about this park so I had was kind of surprised . We do plan to return, it was a great park , just surprised about those few easy fixes .

Wish We Could Come Back

We have had great times over the last few years at Mission Bay RV Resort. The facilities are really clean and it's a good place to put your RV while you discover the San Diego area. This trip we went on the jet boat which was like riding a rollercoaster in the waters. We went to Mission Del Rey, a beautiful historic mission in Oceanside and we went kayaking in La Jolla. This was fun but we dumped our boat a couple of times. We are not good at this. Had a great time. The only downside of Mission Bay RV resort is that your RV has to be 15 years or newer. So, this will be our last year at this park. Our RV is in perfect condition but there are no exceptions. Mission Bay RV Resort - please change your policy on this.

I stayed at the park on 06/15/2018 in the horse campground. Was originally reserved for the tent sites but did not want to carry everything up the path. The Horse campground was great!! The gals at the check in station were very helpful!!

Relaxed Camping

Angostura is a great place to use as a base for your camping vacation in the southern Black Hills area. The facilities are taken care of by the park staff and the various work campers and host that we came in contact with were friendly and helpful. The comfort stations were kept clean along with the entire park. We enjoyed the paved bike trail which has been recently extended. Will definitely be back to Angostura to camp in the future.

Our go-to campground

We have been going to Randall Creek campground for 18 years now. We love the large sites, and the trees. we stayed 2 weeks ago, and our camp-site had quite long grass. Also, I went to the comfort station, and it really needed some airing out. was very smelly in the hot weather. We also feel that the back sites (those in the 70's and above also are in need of a comfort station, as they are so far from any other ones.
