Pitstop af a long ride
0 % of users found this review helpful
We used Whistler RV Park as a pitstop on our way from the Canadien Rockies to Vancouver. The site has an magnificient view, quiet placing and good and clean facilities.
The site is an open stone field, which at first seems a little simple, but actually works fine.

Nice Camping Experience
0 % of users found this review helpful
The RV Sides were really nice. You had a great view on the mountains. It is worth getting up early and watch the sun rise behind the mountains. The side was really clean. The only disadvantage is that the bathrooms can be quite far away if you have an RV Side on the other hand. However, that is not a problem if you use your own RV shower and toilette.

Great tent sites
0 % of users found this review helpful
We stayed in the Whistler RV Park in a tent site for 3 nights in July 2012 on a visit to see our daughter who lives in Whistler Village. The RV sites are very exposed but have an incredible mountain view. The tent sites are surrounded by trees to provide some privacy and are level and make it easy to set up a tent. The washroom facilities are spectacular - the cleanest, newest, and most pleasant we have ever encountered. They are built from exposed yellow cedar logs like a brand new log house. Outside the washrooms are 3 large double sinks with hot water so you can do your dishes without having to heat up water - fantastic idea!
The showers are free so no coins necessary - thank you! The staff was extremely helpful with directions and tips about the local area. All in all, one of the nicest campsites we have ever stayed in. The only drawback was the 20 minute drive into Whistler Village but the wilderness experience compensated for that.

NO privacy
0 % of users found this review helpful
We pulled in, looked at the campground map, paid for the site and drove to it. We then looked at it and turned around a got a hotel room. The site behind us was full of teens who had set up a hommock 6 feet behind us on the only two trees between. The site we were to have was so close to the others that there was absolutely no privacy... the site map is very deceiving. We'll certainly never stay there again.

Unforgettable views over the forest
0 % of users found this review helpful
As a first stop after pickup of rented RV in Vancouver, this is a great place to go. Easy access, very spacy RV parking lots, just a little too much gravel and no tree left on the RV lots which is a pitty. But the free and open space gives you the unforgettable outlooks over the forest when waking up first morning in your camper. All facilities look very new and clean, nice hot showers and friendly staff. Only the firewood's price was bit of a surprise for us but were happy to have a permit to make a fire. Access to Whistler is very close and easy. We enjoyed downhill biking, shopping, hiking and biking around this marvellous little mountain village, only a pitty we only stayed three days. Sure to come back if we get the chance. Whistler and it's RV park stole our hearts.

Best Rates in Town
0 % of users found this review helpful
The campsite was very clean and modern as camp site can be. Those who are squimish about camping will be comfortable here. The rate as far as a campsite goes seems high, but for the area is the best deal. My wife and I set up camp and then went around whistler. The 15min drive is very short. So $30 for two or $200-$300. My only problem was the ridiculous fire ban which has nothing to do the camp site. No fires sure makes it seem wierd at night.

Awesome

Hey guys, We rented a tent site at Whistler RV Park and Campgrounds three days over August long weekend. very well kept sites each with a picnic table and fire pit. Just a heads up there was a fire ban on for the first two days so no camp fires(no ones fault just saying to check ahead). The tent site we got was one of the medium ones and it was able to fit a two person tent , mosquito tent and my toyota corolla. The sites were pretty close together and not as private as I expected but not bad at all. There is a central building housing the washrooms, showers and dishwashing stations outside for the tent sites. Everything was well kept and clean. The campgrounds are close to whistler, squamish and just down the highway and across from Brandywine falls. They are dog friendly which was great for puppy. Overall it was an awesome relaxing camping trip and we will be back next summer!

Majestic view

My family would highly recommend the Whistler RV park.
The view of the mountains from our camper was postcard perfect. There is also ample space between the sites.
It is a short drive to Whistler/Blackcomb where my son was happy to spend his vacation mountain biking.
It is not far from Vancouver so we could take our daughter to the Vancouver aquarium and Stanley Park.
Restrooms and shower facilities are immaculate and are handicapped equipped.
Finally, we found the staff polite and helpful.

Awesome View - great service

We stayed here for 1 night (too bad we couldn't stay longer) and it was great. Very attentive office staff, asked if i needed any help setting up my RV, my site backed onto the ravine with a gorgeous view. Very safe, comfortable campground. We took a walk into the tenting areas to check out the bathrooms and such, for future visits - everything was great - and the view is to die for. No real privacy between the campsites, but yards weren't facing each other, so not too bad. Great place to explore Whistler from.
