Unforgettable views over the forest

As a first stop after pickup of rented RV in Vancouver, this is a great place to go. Easy access, very spacy RV parking lots, just a little too much gravel and no tree left on the RV lots which is a pitty. But the free and open space gives you the unforgettable outlooks over the forest when waking up first morning in your camper. All facilities look very new and clean, nice hot showers and friendly staff. Only the firewood's price was bit of a surprise for us but were happy to have a permit to make a fire. Access to Whistler is very close and easy. We enjoyed downhill biking, shopping, hiking and biking around this marvellous little mountain village, only a pitty we only stayed three days. Sure to come back if we get the chance. Whistler and it's RV park stole our hearts.

Best Rates in Town

The campsite was very clean and modern as camp site can be. Those who are squimish about camping will be comfortable here. The rate as far as a campsite goes seems high, but for the area is the best deal. My wife and I set up camp and then went around whistler. The 15min drive is very short. So $30 for two or $200-$300. My only problem was the ridiculous fire ban which has nothing to do the camp site. No fires sure makes it seem wierd at night.

Awesome

Hey guys, We rented a tent site at Whistler RV Park and Campgrounds three days over August long weekend. very well kept sites each with a picnic table and fire pit. Just a heads up there was a fire ban on for the first two days so no camp fires(no ones fault just saying to check ahead). The tent site we got was one of the medium ones and it was able to fit a two person tent , mosquito tent and my toyota corolla. The sites were pretty close together and not as private as I expected but not bad at all. There is a central building housing the washrooms, showers and dishwashing stations outside for the tent sites. Everything was well kept and clean. The campgrounds are close to whistler, squamish and just down the highway and across from Brandywine falls. They are dog friendly which was great for puppy. Overall it was an awesome relaxing camping trip and we will be back next summer!
