Staying at Western Village for about 10 years with friends. No stick bugs 10-15 years ago but now....... Stink bugs are there by the hundreds of thousands. My friends and I are getting to dislike all those crappy bugs getting in our camper, bags, etc. Western Village needs to sell super cheap stink bug hangers. I would spend $20 bucks if everyone else had them. Or Wester Village could charge and "Special Surcharge" and give everyone at least 2 stink bug lanterns. If it persists my friends and I will find another area, perhaps in another state. Shame on State of PA for not allocating stink bug traps to everyone. When gas prices went up a few years ago Deer Park water company started charging everyone delivery surchage until the gas prices went down. WV should do the same to get rid of SOME OF THOSE BUGS.

We stop at Western Village each fall and spring on our trip to South Carolina. Year-round availability makes our travel so much easier and nicer. Easy access from the interstate and services are close-by. One thing this campground does, that we wish many others would, is that outside lights must be turned off by midnight! No spotlights shining in your bedroom window. Campground is not fancy, but is more than adequate. Has a nice "dog park" area.

3-night stop in Carlisle

I really loved this park. Stayed 3 days to visit a friend and enjoy the area en route to the South for the winter. Big pull thru level sites, shade trees. Close to many things to do. Easy check in (although there was a long line when I arrived! Luckily I was at the front of the line!) I will make it my stop again for sure.

Don't waste your time

Don't waste your time or money. All though it is quiet and has great extras, this place is more concerned with making money than making for a great experience. The lots are ridiculously close. We opened our awning and its about 3 feet at most to the next camper. On top of that we're parked end to end with less than 5 feet between us and the camper behind us. We've never stayed in such a tight campground. And the morning and evening PA announcements are really annoying. Print a flyer and hand it out! We'll NEVER come back here. Don't waste your time or money
