Came here for the 1st time for a 4 day getaway. Check-in staff was very friendly. Took a minute to find my spot but found it and backed right in. Full hookup was easy however, the table for my spot was right next to the Trailor parked next to me.( one foot away). Because of our occasion we ate in and out. There are many restaurants and stores nearby. Most sites were long but tight. The main issue I have with Vineyard is the chickens! I counted at seven roosters that start their cock-a-doodle -doo's at 4:30 in the morning and go on all day. Chickens roam the park freely. Dogs and cats are allowed and well maintained but the chickens handle their business any and everywhere, including my door mats. If you want the being on the farm atmosphere ,this is the place.

We have stayed at this park several times; always a good experience. Staff is accommodating and eager to help out in any way they can. Really like having shade in the summer rather than a park that is out in the open. The fragrance from the eucalyptus trees is nice.

Great stay

My wife and our three pups stayed four nights in our motor home and had a great relaxing stay. Vineyard RV is a fairly large camp ground that had both full time and nightly guests but still feels like a smaller park. The grounds are well maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful. We were parked next to a small pond that had three lighted fountains that made for a restful sleep and just relaxing outside listening to the water. Our site was gravel a had grass on both sides and trees that provided some shade. The sites are almost all gravel but level with plenty of trees. The roads and sites are wide enough for easy in and out and no problem opening slides. The park has a very nice club house with a patio covered with grape vines. We saw lots of people enjoying the shade and visiting with neighbors over a glass of wine. The park has two fenced dog runs right next to each other, one big and the other smaller. Both had places to sit and watch the pups but neither had any grass. Both are very shady so that would make growing grass a little difficult. There is a $1 charge for each pet each night just so you know. There is a lot of things to do nearby and lots of shopping and places to eat. We didn't really do that much in town we would rather just relax and walk the pups. We saw some turkeys one afternoon and they must be regulars because they were not real worried about us. I said earlier that the park has several full timers and some people worry about that. Don't. We walked our pups all over the park and met many nightly and full timers. Everyone was friendly and all the full time homes were well maintained and nice. This was our first trip to Vineyard RV but will not be our last.
