The reason we chose Twentynine Palms Resort was that our grandson was stationed at Twentynine Palms Marine Base and we wanted him to be able to spend some time with us while he was off duty. The campground was clean but there were no grass areas and at that time shade was very limited. Most sites were pull thru that made is easy for first timers to park their vehicle. If we were to visit this site again it would be to spend time with our grandson. It wasn't a bad experience but it wasn't the most enjoyable trip we have had.
