As owners of a family run business, we understand how difficult it is these days to meet customer expectations. And almost impossible to exceed them. We recently spent four wonderful days at Riverside Park Campground in Wells, Maine. We don't usually take the time to write reviews but we wanted to let others know about our experience. Dee, her husband, and daughter (owner's of the campground) are one of the nicest families that we have ever met. They were so kind and caring. They went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable. The campground and facilities are some of the cleanest we've encountered (including some of the high priced, well marketed places). They offer everything you could need. The location is a quiet spot close enough to everywhere you would want to go. We will be back. Thank you for a great time!!

Some friends and I stayed at Riverside for three nights and that was only because we payed in advance and couldnt get a refund. The sites were so small, we could barely fit an average size tent. The showers have almost no pressure and it costs 75 cents for what they say is 8 minutes but it runs out in 5. The "river" in Riverside is actually a mud hole. The people were very rude, not only those who worked there, but the seasonal folks as well. We were bombarded by skunks every night. The pool is tiny. The web page bosts free wi-fi...thats not the case at all, you have to pay for it by the day. The online map is very decieving, the place is very small, and the really stack people in. All in all, not a place i will go to again.
