Christmas 2011

We had a great stay at Los Coches RV Park. Suzie in the office was exceptionally helpful with sending and receiving several important faxes. And Maryanne kept the bathrooms in pristine condition. We also enjoyed swimming (in December!!) with our grandchildren. We found the location ideal for getting to the local sights. Eastbound Grill was our favorite local watering hole, very friendly folks there.

Great location close to San Diego
0 % of users found this review helpful
Wow!!! Great place if you want to explore San Diego attractions and it's surroundings at about 1/4 the price of a hotel room. Only about 20 to 30 miles away with the feel of 100 miles into the hills, once you are in the campsite.
Yes, there are many permanent residents and some times one feels like one is intruding into "their" world, but everyone was Courteous. In fact, we were invited by our permanent resident neighbors to a get-together happening during our stay.
Bottom line:
If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, surrounded by trees in an extremely clean setting, you've found it!!!
If you are looking for a place to party Havasu style... look elsewhere. You will feel an outsider.

Only one negative thing!
0 % of users found this review helpful
Park very clean, very well run - everything very nice. Suzy - the young lady who checked us in & we worked with was the most gracious person we have ever met. Knowledgeable, courteous & very professional. THE ONLY NEGATIVE ITEM: THE INTERNET IS EXTREMELY SLOW. This may be OK for short visit but we must maintain our business as we travel & it was very frustrating. We do not use Skype or download photos or movies - JUST internet for business. We spent so much time trying to finish work each day & that reduced our time to explore San Diego area. It is very nice that they gave cards for free days right after we arrived because we knew NOT to pay for the service. Park is easy off I-8 and close to shopping. Internet is ONLY negative item.
