August2014 wiifi review

Our experience at the park this year was great. The restrooms and grounds are always well kept. However in the last 2 years we have not been able to use the WIIFI. No matter what we tried we were not able to get a reliable connection. Last year we worked with tech support and they installed a separate router which worked off and on but not very reliably. This year I did not even bother calling tech support.

Life at Myrtle Beach

This is our 4th visit to Myrtle Beach Travel Park, we visit in the spring and the fall for two weeks each time. We just keep coming back, that should tell you something. The entire staff is friendly, helpful. My husband had to make a trip to the hospital last spring while we were here, I asked at the office about the hospital. They told me exactly how to get there, she even said I could follow her in her car. That was so nice. The security guards are all very friendly, especially Michael. He's the best. The restrooms are always clean. The pools are beautiful and well kept. See you next spring

I don't mind fishing but the fishermen/women need to respect others. They cut fish heads off of the bait and throw them in the dunes and on the beach! Kids pick them up as well as the pets! They lay there in the sun and stink bad! Your afraid to swim fear of being hooked. They always seem to set up at the entrances and the steps so people have to walk zigzag to get past. Then the trailers seem closer than usual there was only 10 feet from our back door to the side of the trailer next to us. After 43 years of coming here this is our first bad experience. Not sure I want to continue to come back any more. Hope something is done about the fishing and control of how people park their campers.
