When we called for a reservation, we requested a campsite between the Ocean and the Pool area, as my husband has difficulty walking. They gave us the Perfect site. We were VERY Happy with our experience at your Campground and will return. Everyone was very helpful and treated us with kindness and a smile. Thank you

This was our first time staying at the campground and our first time ever camping at the beach. We absolutely loved it and can't wait to come back. We stayed a total of 11 days and enjoyed each of them. The pool was awesome and the little general store had whatever you may need. The only problem I came across was the Internet service. It was very hard to connect and once you was able to get connected it was hard to stay connected, which made it difficult for me to check in at the office. If that problem would be fixed, and maybe lower the temperature in the bath house, it would be an excellent place to spend the entire summer at !!!!

Enjoyed the week stay at Myrtle Beach Travel Park. We rented two villas for eleven people. The girls villa stayed hot until late at night even with most of the food preparation done outside and the guys villa was freezing cold. The landscaping could really use some sprucing up and spray for fire ants. The villa's were okay but I was shocked at what the rental rate was for the space, we could have rented a condo. My main complaint is for the cost of rental I personally think there should be a storm door on each villa so when indoors you aren't closed up and can't see out. Everyone in the park was extremely nice except for one elderly man leaving worship service on a golf cart, he never looked behind himself and backed into my husband which had just recently had back surgery. The man never said excuse me, I'm sorry, are you okay or anything, he just looked at us like it was our fault and some of our teenagers were ready to confront him but my husband said no leave it alone. We really did enjoy our stay and enjoyed meeting and talking with different people and their four legged friends.

Reservation Hell

We have stayed at MBTP for 10 plus years-love the facility-HATE the reservation process. Never able to get spots requested. Last week (stayed June 29-July 3, 2016) had requested to be near our family at the time reservation was made; we were put on the opposite end of the property-asked why, told "we don't guarantee spots". Well, here's the "thing", THEY DON'T guarantee spots, so of the multiple open spots near our family the entire time we were there, why weren't they available for our use? Always see groups together-how do they get put together if spots aren't guaranteed/promised. Love the facility, HATE the process of making reservations-is truly horrible!
