Enjoyed the week stay at Myrtle Beach Travel Park. We rented two villas for eleven people. The girls villa stayed hot until late at night even with most of the food preparation done outside and the guys villa was freezing cold. The landscaping could really use some sprucing up and spray for fire ants. The villa's were okay but I was shocked at what the rental rate was for the space, we could have rented a condo. My main complaint is for the cost of rental I personally think there should be a storm door on each villa so when indoors you aren't closed up and can't see out. Everyone in the park was extremely nice except for one elderly man leaving worship service on a golf cart, he never looked behind himself and backed into my husband which had just recently had back surgery. The man never said excuse me, I'm sorry, are you okay or anything, he just looked at us like it was our fault and some of our teenagers were ready to confront him but my husband said no leave it alone. We really did enjoy our stay and enjoyed meeting and talking with different people and their four legged friends.

Reservation Hell

We have stayed at MBTP for 10 plus years-love the facility-HATE the reservation process. Never able to get spots requested. Last week (stayed June 29-July 3, 2016) had requested to be near our family at the time reservation was made; we were put on the opposite end of the property-asked why, told "we don't guarantee spots". Well, here's the "thing", THEY DON'T guarantee spots, so of the multiple open spots near our family the entire time we were there, why weren't they available for our use? Always see groups together-how do they get put together if spots aren't guaranteed/promised. Love the facility, HATE the process of making reservations-is truly horrible!

Best vacation ever

We have tried a different Myrtle Beach campground 3 years in a row. We found our forever vacation spot. We love that the campground is not crowded with golf carts and you can actually enjoy a stroll around the park. Our daughter loved the bible school everyday and it gave my husband and I some nice time to walk along the beach together. The pool and lazy river were very nice. Bath houses are modern, big, and clean. Very family friendly campground!

I was with the Aliner Liner Rally in May.Many thanks to Chris and Tony for finding out what the problem was with U being able to use my drill to put the feet down on my camper. After trying everything to make sure the electrical outlets were ok, the problem was my drill despite the fact that I had used it at home to put the feet up! They stayed and helped this exhausted camper to set up. Also had a plumbing problem and received helpful information from Beverly in the General Store to find the area resources. Look forward to coming back!
