We have stayed here many times. It's close to everything fun to do in San Diego. The little beach area is very clean and well kept. No lifeguard though. The Snack Shack is nice but a bit pricey. The root beer floats are delicious. Kinda of a poor design having sewer connections right next to picnic tables.... Pretty nice place overall. Lots of security which is good. Need more dedicated visitor parking.

If you do not mind lots of noise hwy, motorized water vehicles, air planes-coptors and too much black top creating excess heat, this place may be for you. The dump connections are extended protruding above ground, causing black water to sit in your drain hoses. Wi-fi connect was very intermittent. Some employees very nice and helpful but one office girl should really find a new job. I love dogs but the bay walk out the gate starts to smell too much and worse as it gets warmer.
