Disappointed

Was not impressed at all. Looks great on the website. Not so great when you get there. Don't reserve site 132 if you have a long rv. Mine is 38ft + truck and had no place to park truck after unhooking. Plus, had to use railroad tie to help level camper. Cable didn't work either. I have to say the staff was very good and the site was very quiet.

THIS FACILITY IS NOT WELL MAINTAINED. GRASS AND WEEDS ARE OVERGROWN. POOL WAS NOT CLEAN. BATHROOMS WERE NOT AS CLEAN AS SHOULD BE. ONSITE HELP AFTER 4:00 PM IS NOT AVAILABLE. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAMP GROUND AT ALL. THEY SHOULD REMOVE THEIR " CAMPGROUND OF THE YEAR " SIGN AT THE ENTRANCE.

Sadly disappointed

We stayed last year for the NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals and had a great experience so we booked again for this year. What a mistake!!!!! New owners took over and it seems they are deliberately trying to ruin a good campground. Grass/weeds so tall the dogs would not even walk in them, had to do their business on the rocks. No patio, no fire ring, no BBQ grills. Just a rock pad to park on. Showers were trashy and smelled. Only one restroom for men and one for women for 130+ camp sites. Toilets are in the shower rooms so, you have to wait for someone to finish smelling-up the place before you can take a shower. The pool was so bad nobody could swim. BBQ restaurant is closed down. The only staff we saw was two young girls on a Lakeview golf cart speeding through the campground. If I do get to come back for the races, I will most definitely find a different campground as long as these folks own Lakeview RV Park.

We have been staying for for years...sadly this is our last visit. This was one of the best rv parks around,we were told it sold last year and new owners have really changed the atmosphere there. Was super friendly and a pleasure to be there, now its a challenge to even catch the staff there. My wife refused to use the showers now. All the landscaped flower beds gone, weeds taking over...just looks run down now.Office people cannot make any changes without making you feel like a problem and I still was over charged, they act as if you are a nuisance by coming into office. I had to go to nearest Tractor Supply for propane because there person was out?? (tried for 2 days).Never the less we will not be back.......huge disapointment for us,we were literlly in disbelief that this was same park.
