Overall this is a great place. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The only thing negative I have to say is the the roads need some work they are in pretty rough shape.

We had a family reunion here. We rented 6 of the 7 cabins. The cabins were very nice and spacious. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Beautiful views of the lake. The only negative was that the air conditioning in Cabin #4 was not working properly and the person who came to fix it, did not get it fixed. The pontoon boats that were rented were great--very clean and like new. We would definitely stay there again.

Company made the weekend great, roaches not so much

The cabin is a bit dated but its view is great. The living room furnishings are new and comfy. Master bed was a total fail! It has to be the original mattress from 1970's and it is wrapped in a thick plastic protector that you could literally kill someone and hose it off. It makes sleeping difficult as it is like sleeping on a wrapper. The second bed wasn't much better as it is thin and in need of replacement too. We tried to look past the poor bedding and remember it's a rustic cabin. Be warned, they have roaches (not tree bugs or water bugs) of all sizes and German roaches. When we asked for bug spray we were told they had just sprayed and that's why we were probably seeing them .. ummm no they would be dead then. The house keeper was like "you are in the woods". .. So if you go you should bring Raid, air mattresses, and towels.

Security is great, staff is helpful, other campers are helpful. We stayed in Site 31, grounds were clean and stayed that way, water, electrical all worked great, nice surprise was the WIFI. Only disappointment was the lac of a Bath House and Restrooms. There was one in the past but that building had been vandalized / burned down and was not in working order.
