A pleasant little campground

I spent just a couple of nights here during a cold snap, so I didn’t really get to take advantage of the grounds, but my site (#15) offered a beautiful view of the lake. The staff person I spoke with was very friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely stay there again if I’m in the area.

Mercy of others

Campsite condition appears to be at the mercy of who stayed there before if they trashed the site you are going to have to clean it up. Also Bathrooms and showers are not bad if you do not mind sharing the space with cockroaches, waterbugs, spiders and other various types citizens of the insect world. Of course if you want a clean bathroom/shower space you better bring your bucket, rubber gloves and cleaning products because the park administration appears not to be concerned. Boaters are the clear priority at this park which has the potential to be really something special.

First assignment in Georgia
0 % of users found this review helpful
I arrived with my 36'camper via hauling agency. I was assigned a temporary site for 3 days then had to move. Holiday Harbor was very helpful in finding someone to move my camper. I travel with my two fur babies and have several sections of portable fencing and a storm door with a doggie door so I can create a "yard" for them...if the facility permits...Holiday Harbor permitted! Everyone is extremely nice and helpful and the lake is amazing. The only thing I didn't like is I can only stay for a month at a time (my assignmentson are 13 weeks)... but I will go back as soon as I can.

Two night stay

We stayed for 2 nights while visiting family in the area. Staff was friendly and helpful. Sites were mostly spaced out and there was a nice view of the lake. Our visit was in late November when the marina was not active so it was pretty quiet. We did not use the public showers or laundry but they looked adequate. The on-site restaurant was not open due to it being off season. There were a number of local restaurants to choose from and local shopping a short drive away. We are ok with water and electric site as long as there is a dump station available. There was a dump station but we were disappointed that there was no water supply at the dump station to clean the system or the drain tube.
