Great campground, Poor Service

Love the grounds. The bathrooms were dirty and showers gross, but the campground itself it very well kept and the pond is great. Although the kids did find quiet a few leeches, but not much to be done about that. My service issue was on the phone with Karen - she was very unhelpful. Was told to email the campground to change reservation, but she wouldn't give me the email address because she just didn't know and told me to find it myself on the website. Awful customer service. When we went to rent a kayak for the kids to use we were told by a very unpleasant lady to leave- employees only - but she was standing outside. When all we wanted to do was ask her where the line was to rent a kayak. We'll most likely return, but as long as you steer clear of the staff you shouldn't have any issues. Great place to watch the meteor shower!

The campground is well maintained with excellent bathroom and shower facility's. However, as with most campgrounds that we have stayed at there is always a down side. Here, the quite hours are not well enforced with people yelling and parting well into the next morning. (2:30 a.m.)

I was really impressed with this campground. This trip was our best camping trip ever. Lots of fun for the kids. I love the fact that you don't have to pay for kayaks and paddle boards, just check them out. Nicest bathrooms I've seen at a campground. My only issue was that our fire pit was super close to the site next to us. Other than that, we loved it, and going back next year.

Nice spacious sites! Picnic tables and fixed fire pits at each site. Both are very much appreciated! Staff is very flexible on how you get into and out of the site. Allowed us to pull right out into the grass area to get out instead of backing out into the roadway where other vehicles might have made things tight. Didn't have to bother the other folks to move their vehicles. Staff went out of their way to accommodate our short notice arrival (same day) during the busy summer season! We don't believe many parks would have done this.
