Great vacation spot
100 % of users found this review helpful
We spent a week in this campground in June, 2011. A lot of the campers were there for long term but it was very nice, quiet, and relaxing. Other campers and staff were very friendly and helpful to us. Being from Eastern TN, I am used to awnings out, chairs set up, and other camping stuff but nobody had any of this outside of their camper. It was very nice and pleasant but a little strange for me. Would recommend this park to others seeking a nice relaxing vacation. Had a wonderful time in Colorado and will visit again and stay at the same location.

A place to park
0 % of users found this review helpful
I needed a place to park a truck camper overnight while attending a conference. This was the closest option. It felt like a long-term RV park and not a place where I'd want to go for vacation except just for overnight parking and a home base. Lots of huge RVs parked right next to each other. I felt like a little speck there. I left early in the morning and returned late at night. I did not use any of the facilities as I was traveling alone and I didn't feel comfortable walking around the place. No one was out but it was packed with RVs. Colorado Springs is a great place. You can't see much of it from this lot but it is located in a great part of town for going out and about. I certainly wouldn't bring kids here.
