Our Favorite Place To Camp
0 % of users found this review helpful
We have visted every year at least one or more times over the last 11 years. The owners are very friendly and always welcome us back with a smile and most often our favorite site. Their rates are very reasonable- you can stay 2 nights for what other places charge for 1. We camp in a 29' travel trailer have 2 kids and 2 small dogs. We love the access to the Hennepin Canal bike path for riding and running. A few playground pieces, pedal carts and yard games for the kids. The office has a small store and a place to play games and get simple snacks. The bathrooms are the cleanest I've ever seen. I prefer to shower there for the hot water and extra space. If you're looking for quiet and relaxing camping this is the place to be. Your a few miles from the quaint victorian town and 20 miles from the Quad Cities. Our favorite weekends to visit are Fathers Day weekend for the annual craft show and the Halloween Celebration. We are always treated like family and will continue to keep coming back for years to come.

Best campground in northern Illinois

We have been going to this campground for 5+ years, and everything we have arrived the hosts have been just wonderful and very accommodating. The full hookup sites have all the hookups in the right places I don't even need to use extentions for the electric or the sewer. If you run out the store have everything you could need,
I would highly recommend this campground over anything in the Quad Cities.

We have stayed at the park before and find the park very nice, very clean and the owners are friendly and helpful. The only complaint we have is that the trees, though quite beautiful, interfere with the satellite dish on top of the motorhome.

A Great Weekend Getaway!
0 % of users found this review helpful
Craig & Shari,
We had a wonderful visit over Labor Day weekend that I just had to send an email. We stayed at site #69 and 70. Feel free to add it to the guest book. Your campground is VERY clean, everyone is super friendly and the accommodations for tenters are excellent! We will be coming back soon! My three year old did NOT want to leave ?
Thanks again for a great stay!
