Stayed here 16 thru 20 August, had a great time and glad I found this Diamond in the Rough Campground! Great Campground, with Great Hospitality....Campground has plans for future expansion and improvements that will surely put them over the top. Will recomend to friends, and cant wait to go back again! Thanks again for a great weekend!

We have been camping here at Ellie Rays with our family for over 14 years. Since the new owner has taken over in June 2012 we will not be back for his disrespect for his customers. DO NOT camp here....don't waste your money!!!!

My family and I have been camping at Ellie Ray's for the past 16 years. Every year my parents rent an RV spot for the entire summer and we spend our weekends boating on the Suwannee/Santa Fe River. This year (2012) the park was sold to the Sturgeon's and they moved to the park. "Sturge," as the owner likes to call himself, has run-off almost every long-time patron of the park. My parents, and MANY others who usually camp all summer, pulled their campers out early and will not return. I am extremely saddened that the place I have visited every year since childhood is being run by an unprofessional "bully". I always expected my children to have all the great memories I had at Ellie Rays, but that will not happen. We will NOT return to Ellie Ray's Campground.

We stayed for a month in a river lot and brought our pontoon boat too which was an easy load in from their boat ramp. The water is crystal clear, we fished all day and even saw manatee! We will most deifintely be coming back to Ellie Ray's!

Being right on the banks of the Santa Fe River, the manatees congregate by the boardwalk near the springs so you can see them up close. Nice, woodsy very rural area. Crowded in summer with locals but good for snowbirds in winter. Owners on site. Lots of nature to enjoy nearby.
