Duncan's is a great place to stay. The place is busy in summer with lots of planned activities for the kids. The staff works hard to ensure you have a good stay and are very friendly and helpful. Winter time there is little activity but they help you to coordinate visits into DC and with a large enough group can assist in setting up guided tours. They also provide shuttle service to the nearby Metro station. Weekends you can park for free at the station. Rates are very reasonable for the greater DC area. Long term stay rates are available as well. Book early to get a spot during the spring-fall season. I have returned for four years many because of the staff and their willingness to help and make you feel like this is a second home away from home.
