Make our Needles RV park into your home base while you head out for day trips to Laughlin, Nevada or the shopping and antique-hunting centers of Bullhead Arizona and Lake Havasu City.

Desert View RV Resort welcomes families during spring, summer, and fall, but during the winter we become a 50-and-over adult park. Our guests can enjoy excellent facilities like full hook-ups, wi-fi internet access, and a heated swimming pool. You can head to Lake Mohave and the Mojave National Preserve for golfing, bird watching, mountain biking, road biking, and horseback riding, or watch the races at the Mohave Valley Raceway. Go rock-hunting in Quartzsite, Arizona, take in the annual Laughlin Riverrun in April, or just relax right here in camp.

Stayed at Desert View RV Resort for 3 days while traveling during the Christmas Holiday. Desert View is a nice park with clean, level, private gravel sites. The hosts and permanent residents were very friendly and always willing to stop and visit. We would stay there again and would recommend this park to travelers in that area.

Stayed at Desert View RV Resort for 4 days while traveling Route 66 (and it is on the Needles portion of Route 66). Desert View is a nice park with clean, level, gravel sites. Each site has a concrete patio and the sites are separated from each other by 6-8 foot bushes. The hosts and permanent residents were very helpful and friendly. There is a small pool but it was a little too cold for swimming when we were there. The facilities are well maintained. We would stay there again and would recommend this park to travelers in that area. Needles is located on the CA/AZ state line and it is about a 2 hour drive to Henderson and/or Las Vegas, NV. There is a casino in Fort Mohave, AZ which is about 15 miles from Needles. The park is not within walking distance (less than a mile) of shopping or dining, but it is within a short drive (about 2 mi) of dining, gas, and convenience stores. The closest big shopping area is in Bullhead City, AZ. During our stay, we visited London Bridge in Lake Havasu City, AZ. We visited as many of the sights and towns along Route 66 as we could and drove the narrow, twisting part of the original Route 66 between Oatman and Kingman, AZ. During our stay, the daylight hours were sunny and relatively warm, but the evenings and nights were cool, so would recommend a light jacket or sweater.
