Great Park

We were well treated by the manager who saw to it that we were happy and satisfied with our site.
The biggest attraction for us was the wonderful mineral water in the spa and the spool.
I would recommend this park to anyone and everyone.

In the Desert

We were introduced to Desert Springs RV park 3 years ago by some friends. We have been going back for up to 3 months at a time since. The reason we like this park is it is in the "country" and has that feel about it. We love the mineral pools and use the swimming pool every day - it sits at around 92F - even in the rain, and you don't have to walk long distances to get to it. We have made many friends in this park that we get together with when we go back every year, and the managers are really great and very accommodating. In February, their is a Valentines Day party and March they do St. Patricks Day..(all pot luck and lots of fun). This park is so diverse in its location... you can drive into Palm Springs to shop, to street fairs, college of the desert fair, casino's and great restaurants; then you return to the desert and hike the hills and the canyons... walk the Morango Valley or drive the 10 miles to Whitewater where you can hike part of the Pacific Crest Trail - this park also has a more gentle walking area for the person who cannot climb hills or rocky surfaces. There is Joshua Tree National park where you can make it a days drive - or stop and walk a mile, visit Barker Dam.. where they used to water the cattle - or drive up to Keye's View and look down on the whole of the Cochella Valley which takes in Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Cathedral City, Indio, Indian Wells and Cochella.. where the San Andreas fault is quite pronounced. In the Palm Springs area, there is Indian Canyon and Tacquitz Canyon.. there is a fee for these areas but well worth it. Further east toward Mecca is Painted and Ladder canyon.. take lots of water and wear a hat. We love going back year after year and doing the same hikes - there is always something new to see and lots of folklore if you take a guided tour. I would recommend this RV park and the area to anyone who is interested.
