Our setting provides everything you need for a unique wilderness experience. You can go hiking and biking on our nature trails, or head to the lake for a day of swimming, conoeing, kayaking, and fishing. Bird watching is a popular activity, as is golfing at one of our local courses, such as Malone's Trent Jones-designed course. Take a trip to the butterfly farm, or head out for a day of hunting. We offer everything you need for a comfortable stay, whether you come in an RV or plan to rent one of our cabins.
Our park is conveniently located near State Route 30, State Route 11, and State Route 11 B. For day trips away from the Campsite, you'll enjoy a visit to Plattsburgh, Saranac Lake, Massena, or Potsdam. You can tour the Olympic Venues at Lake Placid, or stop into the nearest small town when you head for Duane Center. If you're looking for family fun, try the Colonial Village Family Fun Park.

Directions:
13 miles south of Malone or 18 miles north of Paul Smiths on Rt. 30 (Adirondack Trail). Turn West on Co. Road 14 (Red Tavern Rd.) for 1.5 miles, turn South at Deer River Campsite sign, 5/10 mile.

This is a very quiet and peaceful campsite ideally situated to explore the Adirondaks. Most of the sites are occupied by seasonal campers. There is a nice recreation area with volleyball, swings and climbing frames. All of the site is very clean
