Set off Interstate 86 and State Route 228, Cool-Lea Camp is a great spot to relax. We're located in Odessa, New York, not far from attractions like Ithaca, Elmira, and Hammondsport. From here you can wander the three wine trails through Finger Lakes Wine Country or catch a race at the Watkins Glen International Raceway.
Plan a day hike into the Watkins Glen Gorge at Watkins Glen State Park. Spend the day taking pictures at Taughannock Falls in Ulysses, or exploring the rest of Mark Twain Country. Whatever you choose to do, you'll love camping in the Finger Lakes region at Cool-Lea Camp.

Directions:
From Ithaca or Elmira: Take Route 13 to Route 224 at Odessa. Turn on Route 228. Travel 3 miles and the sign for Cool-Lea Campground will be on your right.

This is one wonderful campground. Prices are great, the owners are wonderful. The bathrooms are immaculate - no matter the time of day or night. I would say this is the "Holiday Inn" of camping.
