Warm and Welcoming When you Need It

Great Stop when Traveling.
I have spent an overnight at Conesus Lake Campground twice while traveling with my family (small children) through NY state. We are tent campers. While Conesus is mostly for longer term RV campers, we have loved stopping there in our travels. It is warm and welcoming. The tenting sites are spacious and lovely. There is a heated pool that my children have loved swimming in. We have also felt safe and secure because of the attention of the staff. It is easy to find from the highway and provides a wonderful respite for weary travelers.

The finer things in camping!

Let's face it, going RV'ing or camping is an escape. It's a mental transformation from daily grind to peaceful retreat for the likes of us whom don't fancy the spa, balcony views, and room service more than a few times in our lifetime. We love our outdoors, the smells, the sounds, and the creatures. We seek to be innate in nature, without sacrificing comfort and hygiene.
Conesus Lake Campground was a great weekend for my family. From technology to maintenace and service to community the campground staff and loyal dwellers made an extrodinary impression on me.
The people we met were wonderful, safe, trusting, and inviting. The views of Conesus Lake abreast the incline the campground blankets were breathtaking; even from the pool at times. Accomodations for our equipment and the assitance to get comfortable was ample.
The absolute icing on the cake for us was the proximity to Letchworth State park and the Conesus Inn. Letchworth State Park has a wonderful landscape and an extrodinary view into natures gifts to this planet. Conesus Inn has the renowned recognition and exquisite pallette for satisfying the most refined connoisseurs of Prime Rib and other fine dishes, inside a luxurious lakeside dining room.
It was a weekend of 'rouging' it I will forever cherish.
