Castaways RV Resort is conveniently set near the Assateague Island National Seashore, home to the famous herd of wild ponies. You can make a day trip to the Island for horseback rides and trail hikes, or stay right in camp to relax in our swimming pool. The kids will love a jaunt to Jolly Roger Amusement Park with its roller coasters and bumper cars, and adults are sure to enjoy a visit to the challenging Eagles Landing Golf Club.
Our glorious beaches offer a world of relaxation. Whether you come for the water sports, the peace and quiet, or the colorful sunsets, we have just what you're looking for at Castaways RV Resort. You can use our boat launch to put your craft in the water, enjoy free Wi-Fi wireless internet access and cable TV at your campsite, or go fishing and crabbing on the nearby piers. We also offer rental cottages for those who prefer a more home-like experience. These furnished units sleep six and come complete with Wi-Fi and cable TV.

My family and I have been to several campgrounds. Castaways is by far the best. They are super accommodating to everyone. Including dogs, disabled quests and kids. All of the roads at the campground are paved so taking a bike ride with the kids is really nice! I use a mobility scooter to get around and I was able to enter all of the buildings and activity areas with no problem. They have a wonderful activities director for the kids. While there, my daughter enjoyed making a tye dyed t-shirt, a water balloon fight on the beach and a hula hoop contest. The onsite bay beach is great! They have inflatables tied out in the water. The kids really enjoyed it. If you enjoy music and a nice drink they have a wonderful bar right at the beach that have live music and really great bartenders. Run...don't walk!! Absolutely One of the BEST!

We had the BEST experience while visiting Castaways campground in June 2011. This was our first visit here, and I can honestly say that we will probably return every year!
The staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodations were top notch. The camp store had everything we needed. The beach area was better than visiting actual Ocean City! The tiki bar and live entertainment were so much fun!
I seriously do not have enough GREAT things to say about this campground!
