Family Fun Time

We had a great time last week. The pool is small but crystal clear, the owners go out of their way to make sure your having a good time. Great at engaging the kids. My 16 year old who never wants to do anything, actually joined in for Giant Jenga. She really had fun and felt like a kid again. I think it's because the owner Bonnie and her family treat everyone like family. You feel like your spending the weekend at your fun aunts house. I would sum this place up as warm, welcoming and fun.

Favorite campground

My husband and I discovered this gem of a campground three years ago and have been back many times since then. Brookside is by far our favorite place to escape for a few days. The sites are great, the facilites are clean, the pool is lovely, and they even have an arcade and tons of space for children (and adults!) to play. We have brought many friends and family members to the campground and they all loved it. We look forward to many more years of memories made at Brookside Campground!

Our visits to brookside camp ground

I've been to this camp ground twice tenting. N went to a Halloween event last year . My visits were always great . The owners r very nice n polite. Alot of items r kept I'm the there mini store . Especially if u ran out or forgot something don't have to leave the country grounds. The toddler play ground kept my lil one entertained for a while .n they have a bigger play ground for older kids. Most places one for all . This is great for the toddler one. Every one enjoyed the fire truck ride. The Halloween program was great also. It was even good that u can do marshmallows or smores if u wanted to during the event. Planning on booking a cabin for August. Definitely a great camp ground .

The best campsite in the Catskills
100 % of users found this review helpful
I've been going to this campsite for 10 years now every year. I have never been to another campsite and don't want to because this place offers everything you need to have an enjoyable weekend. The owners are great and their family makes it happen and always with a smile on their face. They offer great pricing on wood and deliver it to your site, they have all the supplies you forgot to bring, and they let you enjoy your weekend without hounding you. The only time they come to the site is if the music is still on after 2am which is totally understandable. There are a variety of people who go to this site and I'm sure we all walked in as strangers and left as friends. There are many attractions in the area one of which is my favorite, Kaaterskill Falls trail. You can play music, sports, dog friendly, everything you think you can do is possible here without litigation or judgments. The point of camping is to have fun, be outdoors, talk, dance, scream and just plain simple fun and meet and greet people and share our cultures. I hope this place is here for me to enjoy as I get older and available to my kids when they get older and want to take their family somewhere worth a million bucks in AWESOME!!! So to the below review instead of going to a community/ family campground and be mad that you had to listen to "Latino" music all weekend you should just lock yourself up in your apartment the whole weekend for the peace and quiet you so desperately need. Leave the fun for the fun people and keep your boring self at home.
