Great place to stay. The only negative is that you are charged for showers. RVers don;t like to be nikel and dimed to death. But I recommended it.

Disappointed!

I have camped all over the United States and was quite disappointed in this campground. We were not told when we made the reservation the night before arrival (we live in Denver) that there was a fire restriction, even though I asked about having a campfire. When we checked in we were advised then that no fires unless it rained. Well, it did rain quite heavily, but they said it wasn't enough. Our campsite was very hot and no protection from the severe winds that blew down over canopy several times. It was invaded by red ants and a long ways from the bathrooms and we had a toddler with us. They also did not mention the showers were not included in their enormous campsite fee of $40 a night for 4 adults and 1 child. My son-in-law went to take a shower and got completely undressed, not realizing he needed quarters to start the shower. He happen to have dollar bills, but no change. So he washed his body the best he could from the sink. I did not understand why someone didn't tell us that when we checked in. There was a note in the bathroom stated the reason was to save water. Well, at $40 a night for a small dirt campsite, they could at least give you a token for each person to take a shower every other day, at least. Oh, and when they told us that we couldn't have a fire. I asked how are we going to cook our food? They said "Oh, just go out every breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I almost fell over. We went and bought a propane stove to cook, but the wind kept blowing our flame out. We made the best of our weekend and enjoyed our company, but the campsite was the worst I have ever seen in my entire life of camping since I was two and now I am 57! Seriously!!

group camping at it's finest

We had a group of 35 who needed cabins, RV spaces and tents. We were given a nice section of the park so we could be together as a group. The cabins and yurts were very nice, the pull through RV sites were spacious and easy to get into and out of, the area we put up our tents was nice and level, shady, with picnic tables and fire rings. We enjoyed using the huge grill and covered pavilion, the clean restrooms and showers were very nice, there is an espresso bar and Sunday morning breakfast they made for us was wonderful and tasty. Our entire group was very impressed with the location, amenities and service. The views were amazing and the night sky was amazing. We will be back year after year.
