Great camp close to I-95
100 % of users found this review helpful
Park is always very clean and convenient to restaurants. Very close to I-95 so we can hop back on to go touring. Ask owner for suggestions on what to see in Washington or locally, he sent us to the Log Cabin restaurant.
We wanted some ice, and park did not have any for sale in December, so staff gave us a little for our drinks. We also enjoyed ice cream on sale as the park is wrapping up the season. Many unique souvenirs on sale in the store.
Owner explained that their pine trees are about 80 years old, planted as a CCC or WWW project during the Depression. We gladly collected some pine cones for our Christmas wreath.

Nice place, sites fairly close but stepped up on a hill so they do not seem close. Pool looks great, but it rained when we were there. Would return, comveniant to Marine Corp museum.
