Aqua Vista Campground is ideally set off Route 22 in Petersburg, New York, not far from Albany, the state's capital.

You can go trout fishing on our Class-A Little Hoosick River, or plan a hiking trip through the woods. The entire family will enjoy hitting the trails when you go horseback riding through the Taconic Valley.
Set out for a day trip to find our area's covered bridges, then settle back with a picnic lunch in a scenic spot. You can head across the state border (just fifteen minutes away) and travel to
Bennington, Vermont or Williamstown, Massachusetts. Uncover the history of horse racing at the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in Saratoga Springs, a great place to shop for souvenirs. Whatever you choose to do, you'll be glad you came camping in upstate New York!
